Gabor Andrasi earned a Doctor Juris degree in 2000 and an LL.M. in European Law degree in 2003 from the Faculty of Law of Lorand Eotvos University, Budapest. He passed the Hungarian “Bar Exam” in 2006.

Having worked as a tax lawyer for the Hungarian Tax Administration for 4 years Gabor joined academia in 2004: he started as a Lecturer at International Business School, Budapest, teaching law courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels for a diverse body of students in various business and management programmes leading to Hungarian or British degrees, based on validation agreements with UK universities. Later on, he served in various academic and management positions: as Senior Lecturer; Manager of EU-funded academic and executive education projects; Postgraduate Programme Director developing and managing MSc programmes leading to a UK degree; Head of Department (Social Sciences); and Head of Quality Enhancement, coordinating Hungarian and international institutional and programme accreditations (ACBSP, BAC, ECBE).

Between 2013 and 2020 he lived in the United Arab Emirates and worked as a lecturer at the Higher Colleges of Technology within the Faculty of Business, teaching law and ethics courses for undergraduate students. After relocation to his home country, he has now joined the Faculty of International Management and Business of Budapest Business School University of Applied Sciences where he has been serving in two positions since August 2020: as Head of the Dean’ s Office and as instructor of various law courses. Since 2016 he has also been a PhD student at NLS, focusing on the relationship between legal and ethics education at academic and professional levels. His PhD was conferred in December 2020. Gabor achieved FHEA status on February 4th, 2020.
