Dr Janice Denoncourt (BA McGill, LLB Western Australia, GAICD, LLM Murdoch, LLM Bournemouth, PhD Nottingham, SFHEA) is a Senior Lecturer with the Nottingham Law School with intellectual property and business law expertise.  Jan is a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and was formerly Chair of the European IP Teachers Network (EIPTN) in 2017-2018.  She is a longstanding member of the International Association of Teachers and Researchers in Intellectual Property (ATRIP).

Jan is the principal author of The Nottingham Intellectual Property Guide for Creatives (2015) and The Intellectual Property Notebook (2016).  She also wrote Q&A Intellectual Property Law 2016 in its 4th edition and Intellectual Property, Finance and Corporate Governance (2018) published by Routledge.   Jan is the Module Leader for several modules on Nottingham Law School’s LLM Intellectual Property Law stream.  Janice is happy to supervise Professional Doctorate or PhD candidates in the field of IP Law and IP Law Education.
