I am a PhD student of legal education at Nottingham Law School supervised by Jane Ching, Rebecca Parry and Pamela Henderson. I am a lecturer in Harbin University of Commerce and a qualified Chinese lawyer.
My PhD research started from January, 2013. This research is a qualitative empirical study conducted through questionnaires and interviews with international lawyers, law teachers, law students and non-law teachers. The purpose of the research is to identify the skills needed for future international commercial lawyers and tailor a course of skills-training at master’s level in the Chinese context.
After the PhD, my desire is to carry on studies in the field of international commercial law, legal personhood in the international legal services market and legal education for international students.
