Centre for Legal Education

Plans for a publication based on the 2015 conference are in place with Pamela, Jane J and Nick as editorial committee, with Graham providing consultancy support.  Key criteria for contributions have been established, plus a potential publisher has been identified, as well as chapter authors and a writer for the foreword.  We are currently awaiting sample chapters in order to progress matters with the publisher.

The organising committee (Jane Ching, Jo, Pamela, John Hodgson working with Paul and others) continues to plan the 2017 conference, based around themes relating to technology. Watch this space for more news in due course

Jo has been shortlisted for Law Teacher of the Year and Jo and Pamela were nominated for the Routledge/ALT Teaching Law with Technology

Jane Ching and Paul have each been invited to present keynote sessions in the Legal Education section of the forthcoming SLS conference and to present at the 10th anniversary conference of the law school at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.  Jane Jarman continues to be asked to present for Managing Partner and to liaise with law firms.
