As a result of the current emergency, NTU will be moving to online course delivery next week and colleagues are encouraged to work at home as far as possible. It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to cancel the live CLE conference in June. We cannot place at risk the wellbeing of any of those involved, or their family, friends, students and societies.
We do, however, have a lively group of people, with much to say, to contribute and to share on important topics. We propose to investigate the possibility of moving the event online in some way, perhaps asynchronously and perhaps in the autumn. We would like to thank all those involved, at NTU and elsewhere, for the hard work and enthusiasm that they have contributed so far: we will do our best to see that it is not wasted.
